Duties and Responsibilities
- Create an effective and ongoing relationship with each patient, including:
- Taking complete medical history and psychiatric history;
- Making accurate assessments and diagnoses; and
- Developing comprehensive treatment plans, including medication management.
- Develop effective and cooperative relationships with client therapists and primary care physicians regarding mental health status and treatment.
- Offer CBT- and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and other forms of psychotherapy.
- Maintain documentation of all patients seen, including follow-up and referral in the electronic medical records system, in accordance with strict adherence to all ethical and legal standards.
- Implement personalized care planning processes, utilizing evidence-based medicine and active participation of clients.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat emergent and chronic psychiatric and substance abuse related disorders, including (where appropriate) crisis intervention.
- Independently order and interpret laboratory reports and diagnostic imaging reports.
- Consult with collaborating physician on a regular basis (NP’s/PA’s only)
Required Credentialing, Knowledge and Skills
- Current medical, PMHNP, or PA license Practitioner license
- Current Board certification
- Current DEA license
- 3-5 years + experience with medication management, including working with high-functioning patients within a private practice environment
- Ability to work independently remotely and as part of a team (with psychiatrist telephone backup for NP/PAs)
- Compliance with electronic medical records management procedures, including applicable HIPAA practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be sensitive with persons of diverse social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds
Therapist Positions
Our team is always looking for licensed mental health therapists (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) to provide outpatient telehealth psychotherapy services for children, adolescents and adults with ADHD, mood/anxiety disorders in California or Oregon. Well Coast Medical provides comprehensive mental health services for children, adolescents and adults in California and Oregon.
Licensure Required for CA or OR
We specialize in ADD/ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), anxiety and mood disorders. Therapy services are provided by telehealth or in-person at one of our offices in San Francisco, San Diego Los Angeles, and Portland, Oregon.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide 50-minute psychotherapy sessions (can be individual, couples or family) via secure Telehealth platform.
- Create comprehensive therapeutic assessments and treatment planning with proper documentation completed in a timely manner.
- Full-time candidates preferred, but part-time opportunities also available.
- Minimum of 10 clinical hours/week in addition to 1 hour/week administrative time (compensated) for collaboration and clinical documentation.
Required Credentialing, Knowledge and Skills
- Warmth and ability to connect/develop therapeutic relationships.
- High degree of professionalism, organization and reliability.
- Strong knowledge of mental and behavioral health therapies, particularly CBT.
- Ability to conduct confidential teletherapy sessions with appropriate technology.
- Ability to use electronic health records system for documentation, scheduling and communication with clinical and administrative team. (Experience with CharmHealth a plus.)
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to meet contract requirements and relevant regulations, such as background clearances, positive references, required vaccinations (if working in-office.
- Experience working with children or adolescents is a plus, but candidates who only work with adults are also encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of ADHD/ADD/executive dysfunction and experience working with this patient population highly desired.
