Meagan Barroner, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in psychiatric care. She’s a native of Syracuse, NY, and has lived in numerous states throughout the US. Meagan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD, where she went on to pursue her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY.

She has practiced in multiple specialties throughout her career, including primary care, urgent care, addiction medicine, and psychiatry. As a military spouse herself, Meagan understands the military lifestyle and is a strong advocate for service members, their spouses, and families in receiving thorough medical care. Her passion is working with patients who are going through one of the most vulnerable periods in their lives.

Meagan is dedicated to creating a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns. She takes the time to listen and understand each patient’s needs while developing individualized treatment plans that match specific lifestyles and goals. Additionally, Meagan provides ongoing medication management and treatment for a variety of mental health conditions, with a focus on compassionate, personalized care.

As part of Well Coast Medical’s collaborative care model, Meagan sees patients alongside supervising psychiatrist Dr. Stephen Seager, a board-certified psychiatrist. Together, they provide comprehensive psychiatric care that combines the accessibility of a dedicated psychiatric physician assistant with the expertise and oversight of an experienced psychiatrist.

In her spare time, Meagan enjoys hiking and exploring National Parks (having 50 of 63 completed) throughout the US with her husband, young children, and two doodles (Astro & Cosmo).
