Sandra Olshak, LCSW (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults and older teens navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, and LGBTQ+ issues. She has experience providing therapy across a variety of mental health, social service, and university counseling settings, with particular experience supporting undergraduate and graduate students and young adults.
Sandra believes therapy is a collaborative process – a place where you can talk openly about what’s happening in your life, better understand yourself and your relationships, and find practical ways to move forward. She prioritizes building a strong therapeutic relationship from the very first session and works with each client to develop a shared understanding of their concerns, goals, and what they hope to gain from therapy. Her conversational, individualized approach helps clients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care.
Sandra has additional training and a special interest in working with adults and older teens with ADHD, helping clients strengthen functioning at school or work, manage everyday responsibilities, and navigate the ways ADHD can affect relationships and self-esteem.
Sandra earned her Master of Social Work from Southern Illinois University. Having recently moved to Southern California, she enjoys exploring her new surroundings as well as spending time with family, reading, watching movies, knitting, and snuggling with her Labradoodles.
