Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Residency and
Physician Assistant (PA) Post-Graduate Psychiatric Fellowship Programs
Well Coast Medical Corporation is committed to the future of the mental health profession. We are currently offering residency and fellowship opportunities to well-qualified PMHNP interns and physician assistants (PAs) who are finishing their psychiatry post-graduate fellowships. Applicants must:
- have a masters or doctoral degree;
- are also board-certified FNPs, AGNPs, or PAs; AND/OR experienced PMH/ER/ICU RNs; AND/OR are licensed MFTs, LCSWs, or PsyD/PhDs;
- are in their final two quarters or semesters of their programs;
- are amenable to seeing patients in our San Francisco; San Diego; and Bend, OR locations; either via telemedicine or in-person; AND
- will commit to sharpening their clinical skills and furthering their careers at Well Coast Medical Corporation on a full-time basis for at least one year after earning their licenses and/or board-certifications.
- As a full-time employe at Well Coast, you will continue to have extensive training and support; draw a competitive salary; and receive competitive benefits including 50% healthcare premium subsidies, 2 weeks of paid vacation, accrual of sick time, ability to participate in a 401K, cafeteria plan, etc. The current salary and benefits package can be provided upon request.

- Your preferences for the residency, including:
- anticipated start and end dates
- total number of hours needed, for adult/older adults and child/adolescents

- Research & Publication

- Life Experience/Professional membership
- Nursing school transcripts
- A copy of RN license
- A copy of BLS certification
- Copies of APRN or PA license and board-certification
- A copy of DEA licensure if applicable
- Three (3) references and their contact information, preferably one from an academic instructor, one from a preceptor, and one from a place of employment/co-worker.
- Each recommender who you nominate is asked to address the following areas, as appropriate:
- relationships with team members such as nurses, physicians, and others
- professional nursing ability, including application of theory, independent judgment where appropriate, and quality of patient care
- communication skills
- leadership skills
- responsibility and initiative.
